Officials Urge Outside Firefighters, Rescuers to Stay in Own Communities
Sunday Yankee Stadium Memorial Service for Family Members of All Victims Only
The New York City Office of Emergency Management of the Mayor's Office advised today -- as the FDNY and IAFF continue to report -- that
fire and rescue personnel from outside the New York area should not to attempt to enter the city for any reason unless designated
through appropriate response plans.

Spokesmen for FDNY and the NYC Office of Emergency Management have stated that tickets to the Yankee Stadium Memorial Service this
weekend are available only to the victim family members and those businesses effected by the terrorist attack.
No tickets are being distributed to the public and a ticket is necessary to attend the memorial.
Again, it is urged my multiple agencies and organizations that firefighters not directly tied to the WTC tragedy should by no means
attempt to enter the city of New York.
Thanks for your continued outpouring of support,
