Although Dan Hollister and Travis Robinson are Adjunct Instructors for Lifesaving Resources, their contribution to the New York City rescue and recovery efforts at the World Trade Center was a result of their personal dedication and their actions were not requested or supported by Lifesaving Resources.
However, we applaud them for their dedication, their efforts, their time, and their hard work. I, personally, went to New York on Friday and Saturday, September 14 and 15 to assist in this effort. And, before I left, I called them to invite them as well, only to learn they had only just returned that morning.
We, therefore, appreciate the contribution made by Dan and Travis, as well as those made by Fire, Rescue, EMS, Nurses, Physicians, Construction Workers, and everyone else who stopped what they were doing and rushed to New York to offer their assistance in this incident.
