Submerged Vehicle Incidents
Each year, there are approximately 1,500 incidents in the United States of vehicles leaving the roadway and entering the water that results in approximately 600 deaths.  This section has been created to educate First Responders and the public about these incidents as well as to provide instruction in the Escape and Rescue from Submerged Vehicles.  For more information on this subject, please see our article at http://lifesaving.com/issues/show_article.php?section=safe&id=32
